Motocyclist Tries to Escape Stop and Is Arrested by GCM in Ponta Grossa
A motocyclist was arrested by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) after attempting to escape a stop during the afternoon of Saturday (3), in Ponta Grossa. The incident was recorded in the Órfãs neighborhood area, near Catarina Miró School.
A motorcyclist was arrested by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) after trying to escape an approach during the afternoon of Saturday (3), at Ponta Grossa. The occurrence was recorded in the Orphans neighborhood region, near the Catarina Miró School.
According to information from GCM, a Quebec team was patrolling when they noticed the motorcyclist doing irregular maneuvers. Agents would have determined that the driver would stop, but the order was not obeyed.
From this, the team began the motorcycle’s follow-up through the streets of the region. According to the report of the occurrence, the motorcyclist was traveling through Rua Souza Dantas and would have shown concern with the presence of the team, repeatedly looking back.
Then, according to the GCM, he went against the grain on Rua Júlia Lopes. During the follow-up, the driver would also have passed through the preferential Francisco Camerino Street without slowing down.
The approach was carried out later. According to the agents, the man resisted the orders given by the team, being necessary physical intervention to enable the personal search. No illegal objects were found with the motorcyclist.
During the care, the guards reported having noticed signs that could indicate alcohol intake. Among the characteristics described by the team were red eyes, alcohol odor, behavioral change and aggressiveness. The motorcyclist himself reportedly informed the officers that he had consumed two cans of beer.
A Transit team was activated to continue the occurrence and perform the necessary procedures.
The driver, however, refused to perform the test of the ethylometer, according to the record.
Before the signs observed during the approach, the agents elaborated a Notice of Drunkenness.J to the motorcyclist was referred to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa, where the procedures related to the occurrence were performed.
