Motorcyclist Injured After Being Hit by Truck on PR-151 in Jaguariaíva
A collision between a truck and a motorcycle on PR-151 in Jaguariaíva left a motorcyclist injured on Friday (4).

An accident on the PR-151 in Jaguariaíva left a 49-year-old motorcyclist injured on Friday afternoon. The cross-sectional collision took place at around 16:56, at km 223+950 of the state highway, on the stretch between Jaguariaíva and Piraí do Sul, involving a Honda NXR Bros motorcycle and a Volvo VM 360 truck.
According to information from the Piraí do Sul Road Police Station, responsible for attending to the occurrence, the accident was classified as a cross-over collision, when the vehicles hit each other during a movement of crossing or change of direction.
According to the data collected at the site, the Volvo VM 360 truck was traveling along the PR-151 in the direction Jaguariaíva/Piraí do Sul when, upon reaching the indicated kilometer, it ended up getting involved in the collision with the motorcycle.
The Honda NXR Bros motorcycle, with Curiúva (PR) plates, made a crossing of the track from right to left with the aim of accessing the courtyard of an existing fuel station on the side of the highway.
With the impact, the driver of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries. He received medical attention and was referred to the hospital unit of Jaguariaíva for evaluation and necessary care.
The driver of the truck, a 58-year-old man, suffered no injuries and remained at the scene during the attendance of the occurrence. As informed by the police team, he declared the facts to the officers responsible for the registration.
The accident on the PR-151 in Jaguariaíva resulted only in material damage to the vehicles involved, in addition to the care of the injured motorcyclist.
