Motorcyclist Injured After Colliding With Car's Rear in Ponta Grossa
Accident on Ernesto Vilela Avenue in Ponta Grossa leaves 22-year-old motorcyclist injured. Police identify irregularities and seize the motorcycle.
A 22-year-old motorcyclist was injured after a collision in the rear of a Fiat Palio on Avenida Ernesto Vilela on Ponta Grossa. The accident occurred near the corner with Rua Barão de Campanema, next to Fleming, and mobilized teams of the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) and the Military Police.
According to information collected at the scene, the driver of the Palio, 24, reported that he was standing on the avenue, waiting for pedestrians to pass through an elevated back, when the collision occurred.
The driver of the car reported that a bus was behind his vehicle and believes that the motorcyclist was trying to pass through the corridor, near the parking spaces, when he ended up hitting the back of the car.
The exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been clarified.
Young man was referred to UPA Santana
After the collision, a team from the SAMU was called in to provide care for the motorcyclist, who suffered minor injuries.
The 22-year-old received first aid on site and was referred to the Santana Pronto Atendimento Unit (UPA) for medical evaluation.
The driver of the Palio, 24, was not injured.
Military Police teams were on site to attend the occurrence and perform the necessary procedures.
