A serious accident between a motorcycle and a car on Wednesday night left a motorcyclist seriously injured. The incident was recorded at the intersection of Bárbara Edtein Street with Hercílio Arnaldo Rosa Street, near the Olarias Lake, at Ponta Grossa.
The Juliet team of the Patrulhamento Viário was nearby when they came across the crash involving a Fiat Strada vehicle and a Yamaha Lander motorcycle.
At the scene, the driver of the Strada, who was drunk, followed the street Bárbara Estein in the direction of Olarias Lake / neighborhood. During the maneuver to enter the street Hercílio Arnaldo Rosa, he collided with the motorcycle.
With the impact, the motorcyclist was thrown more than 4 meters from the site of the collision. The victim received care on site and was referred by the SIATE team to UPA Uvaranas with frail injuries, between femur and collarbone fractures.
The driver of the Fiat Strada showed visible signs of drunkenness. The Military Police, which was present at the site, carried out the ethylometer test, which resulted in 0.81 mg/L, a value that configures traffic crime.
The driver was referred to the appropriate criminal procedures at the Police Station.
The patrulhamento viário team remained on the scene attending to the occurrence together with the Military Police until the release of the road and preparation of the occurrence report.
