Motorcyclist suspected of fracture after collision with car in Ponta Grossa

A traffic accident in Ponta Grossa was recorded on the night of Friday (18), around 7:12 pm, in Rua Dom João VI, central region of the city. The incident involved a Chevrolet Cruze vehicle and a Yamaha motorcycle, leaving the motorcycle driver injured after a side collision.

According to information from the Traffic and Road Safety team, the two vehicles were traveling along Dom João VI Street, in the direction of Centro / Bairro, when the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze began a conversion maneuver on the left.

According to the reports collected on site and monitoring images analyzed by the teams, the driver would have performed the conversion with the use of the direction indicator. During the maneuver, the motorcyclist who followed the same path advanced along the side of the car, at which point the collision between the vehicles occurred.

With the impact, the motorcyclist suffered a fall on the ride and presented injuries, in addition to suspected fracture in the ankle region. After the crash, the motorcycle still hit the fence of a property located near the collision point, causing damage to the structure.

The vehicles involved in the traffic accident in Ponta Grossa also had damages resulting from the impact. The team responsible for the care carried out the necessary procedures on site, including road signage and the registration of the occurrence, because it was a casualty accident.

During the verification of the documents, it was found that both the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze and the motorcyclist had a regular license.

The medical care was carried out by Team Bravo 1. After the first care, the motorcyclist was referred to the UPA Santana, where she underwent medical evaluation due to the injuries presented.
