Car accident in Ponta Grossa leaves 26-year-old motorcyclist injured at the intersection of Coronel Dulcídio and Júlia Wanderley streets

A car-motorcycle accident in Ponta Grossa left a 26-year-old motorcyclist injured on Thursday night at the intersection of Coronel Dulcídio and Júlia Wanderley streets. The victim received care from Siate and was referred to Unimed Hospital.
According to information obtained at the scene, the motorcyclist was traveling along Coronel Dulcídio Street, while a Ford Ka was following Júlia Wanderley Street, in the direction of Ernesto Vilela Street.
The 20-year-old driver of the car reported seeing the motorcycle approaching Colonel Dulcídio, but believed he would have enough time to complete the crossing. When the Ford Ka was practically crossing the road, the collision occurred.
Motorcyclist was served by Siate
With the impact of the car-motorcycle accident on Ponta Grossa, the motorcyclist fell and emergency teams were called in to provide care.
Siate evaluated the 26-year-old still at the scene. According to initial information, he had a bruise in the knee and a wound in the genital region. After the first visits, the victim was referred to Unimed Hospital for medical evaluation.
No information has been passed on about the worsening of the motorcyclist's health so far.
Three people were in the car.
In addition to the 20-year-old driver, two other people were in the Ford Ka at the time of the collision. Passengers are 19 and 20 years old. There was no information that the three occupants of the car needed hospital referral.
During the attendance to the occurrence, traffic agents remained at the intersection to signal the region and guide the drivers who passed through the stretch.
The Military Police were also called in to attend the occurrence and register the occurrence report.
