Municipal Shelter in PG Will Have PS5 Video Game and New Equipment for Teenagers

The Ponta Grossa Municipal Shelter should receive a PlayStation 5 Slim video game and new equipment for the care of adolescents hosted by the social assistance network. The acquisition is part of a tender held by the Social Assistance Foundation of Ponta Grossa (FASPG), whose result was published in the Official Journal of the Municipality on Thursday (24).

The Electronic Pregão no 18/2026 provides for the purchase of permanent materials for the Institutional Welcoming Service for Adolescents, with resources linked to the Tax Amendment no 182/2026. The total value of the items contemplated in the result of the tender is R$ 11 thousand. Among the equipment is a PlayStation 5 Slim console, purchased for R $ 4,300.

What equipment will be used in the shelter?

In addition to the video game, the tender contemplates equipment intended for the feeding, communication, security and recreational activities of the unit. According to the result published by the Social Assistance Foundation, the items and their values are:

The video game was specified in the notice as a state-of-the-art console, with the ability to run games in 4K resolution and equipped with a physical media player. The thermal buffet, which has six stainless steel tanks, will be used to feed the unit, allowing the conservation of the temperature of the food during the distribution of meals.

The amplified sound box can be used in activities developed in the shelter, while the video doorman with camera and the printer should complement the security and administration structure of the institution. The publication confirms the result of the tender, but does not present the expected date for the delivery of the equipment.

Acquisition will be carried out with tax amendment resources

According to the Foundation for Social Assistance, the acquisition of permanent materials meets the Tax Amendment No. 182/2026, intended for the Institutional Reception Service for Adolescents of the Municipal Shelter. The document presents four suppliers contemplated in the result of the tender, responsible for the supply of the different equipment.

The purchase of the PlayStation 5 Slim and the thermal buffet went to the company Bianca Mendes da Silva Cunha, for the total value of R$ 6,500. The amplified sound box will be supplied by Jessica Alves Comercial Ltda., while the video doorman will be supplied by Stelar Tecnologia Ltda. The printer will be supplied by Krods Tecnologia Ltda.

The result also presents the acquisition of four benches for the cafeteria or kitchen, with a maximum value estimated at R$ 1,000. However, this item appears in the list of revoked, failed or deserted items, not integrating the total value of R$ 11 thousand of the items contemplated in the tender.

Equipment will be destined for the reception of adolescents

The Municipal Shelter is part of the social assistance network of Ponta Grossa and offers institutional care for adolescents. The acquisition of new equipment is linked to the attendance of this public, including materials that can be used in recreational activities and in the routine of the institution.

The result of the meeting, however, does not detail how many adolescents are currently served by the shelter, what activities are planned with the video game and the sound box or when the equipment will be made available to the hosts. This information still depends on additional clarifications from the Social Welfare Foundation.
