Neighbor fight ends with assaults, death threats and damaged gates in Irati

A military police team responded on Thursday night, around 9:40 p.m., to an occurrence of threat and bodily injury resulting from a prolonged disagreement between neighbors in the Joaquim Zarpelon neighborhood of Irati. According to police, the conflict already has previous records.

According to the bulletin, the resident reported that the neighbor went to her residence, damaged the gate with a stone and threatened her with death. The husband of the resident arrived soon after and called the neighbor to fight.

The daughter of the resident reported being assaulted in the face by the neighbor’s wife. He also claimed that the neighbor and his father participated in the assault.

In return, the neighbor told the team that the resident’s husband went to her house armed with an iron bar, damaged the gate and the door and also threatened to kill him.

The neighbor's wife reported being assaulted by the resident's daughter, suffering a finger injury.

In view of the facts, the parties present were taken to the Pronto Atendimento Unit (UPA) and to the hospital for examinations and reports of bodily injuries. Afterwards, they were referred to the Civil Police Station for appropriate measures.

The resident's husband fled the site before the arrival of the staff and was not located. The neighbor's father was not immediately referred because the charge against him only arose during the recording of the occurrence at the police station.
