Noise disturbance in Ponta Grossa ended with two arrests after a party at Cará-Cará. Police also registered a threat against the whistleblower.

An occurrence of disturbance of peace in Ponta Grossa ended with two people sent to the police station in the early hours of Monday (14), in the neighborhood of Cara-Cará. The situation began after a report involving loud sound during a birthday celebration and ended with the recording of an alleged threat against the person who triggered the authorities.
According to the bulletin of the occurrence, a team was triggered around 2am to verify a complaint at a residence located in the region of Avenida Siqueira Campos.
Sound could be heard at about 50 meters
According to the police report, when they arrived in the vicinity of the property, the agents noticed the noise. The sound, as recorded by the team, could be heard from approximately 50 meters away.
At the scene, a woman presented herself as responsible for the residence and reported that the family was holding a birthday celebration.
Before the protest of the complainant so that the legal measures were adopted, the team collected the sound box that was being used. The person in charge of the property received a voice of imprisonment and was informed of her rights.
Gestures were interpreted as threats.
According to the bulletin, when the staff and the whistleblower left the venue, another party participant would have made gestures considered intimidating towards the person responsible for the complaint.
First, he would have pointed his fingers at his own eyes, and then in the direction of the whistleblower, in a gesture usually associated with the expression “I’m watching you.”
Soon after, according to the police report, the man would have passed his thumb transversely through his neck, simulating a cut. The gesture was interpreted by the agents as a possible death threat.
In the face of the situation witnessed by the team, the police returned and gave a voice of arrest to the second involved in the threat record.
The incident was sent to the police station.
The two persons were taken to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa for the appropriate procedures. According to the record of the occurrence, there was no need to use handcuffs.
The case should continue for the analysis of the responsible authorities. The referral to the police station and the police register do not represent a conviction, and any responsibilities will be determined according to the progress of the procedure.
