Nova connection of Anita Garibaldi Avenue will be inaugurated this Monday in PG

The new connection of Avenida Anita Garibaldi, between the Orfans and Boa Vista neighborhoods, will be inaugurated on Monday (7), in Ponta Grossa. The ceremony is scheduled to take place around 11:00 a.m., just after the September 7th Civic Parade.

The work is considered by the City Hall one of the main recent interventions in the urban infrastructure of the municipality and aims to expand the integration between different regions of the city.

With the opening of the new stretch, the expectation is to improve the travel options between the Orfans and Boa Vista neighborhoods, creating a new alternative for drivers who circulate in the region.

Work seeks to improve mobility between neighborhoods

According to the City Hall, the new connection represents an advance in Ponta Grossa urban mobility and is part of the interventions aimed at improving the city’s road connections.

In addition to facilitating the movement between neighborhoods, the work should also contribute to the distribution of the flow of vehicles in nearby roads, reducing the dependence on already consolidated routes.

The link is still pointed out by the Municipality as a strategic intervention to accompany urban growth and expand the infrastructure available in the region.

Inauguration of Avenida Anita Garibaldi will have the blessing of vehicles

The delivery ceremony will also feature a symbolic moment. The priests will be on site to perform a blessing of the vehicles that use the new route.

The activity will officially mark the opening of the road for the population.

The inauguration was scheduled to take place after the traditional Civic Parade of Independence of Brazil, which will also be held on Monday in Ponta Grossa.
