Operário Ferroviário tied 0-0 with Flamengo on Tuesday night (27), at Estádio Germano Krüger, at Ponta Grossa, for the first leg of the 2026 Copa do Brasil U-20 quarter-finals. With the result, the Phantom continues in the dispute for an unprecedented classification to the semifinals of the national competition.

Worker starts by pressuring and creates opportunities
The Phantom entered the field willing to take advantage of the control of the game and pressured Flamengo in the first minutes. In the two minutes, the Paraná team has already brought danger to the opponent's defense.
Flamengo responded with offensive strikes and demanded good interventions from goalkeeper Matheus Lopes. Sayago and João Vitor Couto were among the players who created opportunities for the Carioca team.
On the other side, goalkeeper Léo Nannetti also had to work to prevent the Worker from opening the scoreboard.
Despite the opportunities and the offensive movement, the teams went to the interval without goals.
Second half moved, but no goals
At the return of the interval, Flamengo tried to take control of the actions. João Vitor Couto received a pass from Sayago and finished over the goal. Shortly after, Josmar appeared in the area after Diego Guimarães crossed, but his header came out to the left of the goal.
The Worker did not merely defend. The team led by Thiago Schumacher re-created opportunities and increased the pressure in the final minutes, seeking to build an advantage for the return match.
However, the defensive systems prevailed, and the confrontation ended in a 0-0 draw.
Historical classification follows the reach of the Ghost
