Palladium launches Poltrona Rosa in support of the fight against cancer in Ponta Grossa

The Pink Armchair in Ponta Grossa will turn a trip to the cinema into a gesture of solidarity throughout October. In partnership with Cine Araújo, the Palladium Shopping will have a special seat in each room and will allocate 100% of the value corresponding to the tickets of these seats to the Women’s Network of Fighting Cancer – Regional Ponta Grossa.

The initiative integrates the actions of Outubro Rosa and aims to unite entertainment, awareness and support to the work carried out by the institution in the municipality.

Throughout the month, each room of the Cine Araújo located in the Palladium will have a Pink Armchair. Whenever a customer occupies this seat, the amount corresponding to the ticket will be fully reverted to the Women’s Network.

Campaign also calls attention to prevention

In addition to the collection, the proposal is to use the presence of the armchair in the cinemas to increase awareness about prevention and early detection of breast cancer.

The idea is to insert the Outubro Rosa’s message in a daily environment, reaching different audiences throughout the sessions held during the month.

According to Geverson Rodrigues, Marketing Manager of Palladium Shopping Ponta Grossa, the campaign seeks to transform a common cinema space into a symbol of care.

“The Pink Armchair was born with this purpose: to transform a common place within the cinema into a symbol capable of arousing attention and, at the same time, generate a concrete contribution to the Women’s Network”, he emphasizes.

October begins with a special session

The program will also have a special activity on October 1.

The Cine Araújo will receive patients, family members and volunteers of the Women’s Cancer Fighting Network for a free and exclusive session.

The film chosen for the occasion addresses the friendship between women. The proposal is to provide a moment of coexistence, leisure and welcome for people served by the institution and for volunteers.

Women’s Network highlights the importance of the initiative

For Alaine Margarete Guimarães, volunteer treasurer of the Women’s Network for Fighting Cancer – Regional Ponta Grossa, the campaign contributes both financially and to increase the visibility of prevention.

Actions such as the Pink Armchair in Ponta Grossa help bring information about care, prevention and early detection of cancer to different audiences.

The partnership between Palladium Shopping, Cine Araújo and Rede Feminina will remain throughout October.

The campaign seeks to make the pink seat be seen not only as a different chair in the movie theater, but as a symbol of Ponta Grossa’s mobilization during Outubro Rosa.
