PC launches operation against fuel fraud in city fleet in PR
The PCPR is investigating suspicions of embezzlement-diversion, ideological falsehood and criminal association related to the supply of fuels for the municipal machinery of Rio Branco do Ivaí

The Civil Police of Paraná (complied with seven search and seizure warrants in the cities of Rio Branco of Ivaí and Grandes Rios, in the North region of the State, on the morning of Tuesday (6).
The PCPR investigates suspicions of embezzlement, ideological falsehood and criminal association related to the supply of fuels for the municipal machinery of Rio Branco of Ivaí.
During the search, the teams seized mobile phones and documents. The materials will be referred to the technical expertise to contribute to the progress of the counts.
The due diligences indicate that supply coupons linked to several public vehicles continued to be registered, even when these vehicles were inoperative, stopped, in maintenance or in other locations.
“Store records for several heavy vehicles were identified at intervals of a few minutes, showing the physical impossibility of operation or movement of the machines by the same driver,” explains PCPR delegate Bruno Delfino Sentone.
PCPR also assesses the use of forged signatures of drivers and municipal servers on supply tax coupons to give false appearance of legality to public expenditures.
