The company Pinfer Metalúrgica Indústria announced the acquisition of a plot of approximately 220,000 square meters in Ponta Grossa. The area is located in a strategic region, close to Ambev’s factory, and the purchase raises the possibility of a future expansion of the company’s activities in the municipality.

According to information released by Pinfer itself, the property is about two kilometers from Ambev's unit, with access to the BR-376 region. Despite the size of the investment, the company has not yet defined the destination of the land and does not rule out the possibility of installing a new subsidiary in Ponta Grossa.

One of the points that most draws attention in negotiation is the way the opportunity arose. According to the company’s partner, Ronney Vieira do Pinho, the acquisition was an indirect result of the work developed on social networks, which expanded the brand’s visibility and opened doors for new businesses.

Business emerged through social networks

Pinfer’s management explained that the purchase of the land was not part of the company’s immediate planning. However, an opportunity presented from the contacts generated by the digital presence led those responsible to evaluate the investment. “When you start doing a job on the internet, you have no idea where it’s going to go. This ground came from the social media work we have done. It was really a circumstance, an interesting business," said CEO Ronney Vieira do Pinho.

The situation demonstrates how the digital presence can surpass the dissemination of products and services, creating business connections and investment opportunities. In the case of Pinfer, the relationship built through the internet ended up contributing to a real estate negotiation of large proportions.

Can Ponta Grossa receive new unit from Pinfer?

With the acquisition of an area of approximately 22 hectares, the expectation grows about the possibility of Pinfer establishing operations in Ponta Grossa. The location of the property is considered strategic due to its proximity to BR-376, an important logistics corridor that connects the Campos Gerais to other regions of the Paraná and the country.

The region also has the presence of large industrial enterprises, including the Ambev factory, installed in the municipality since 2013. Although the possibility of a new subsidiary has been mentioned by the company, Pinfer has not yet officially announced the construction of a unit, the start of works or the opening of job openings in the municipality.

The definition of the future of the land will depend on the assessments and planning of the company.

Company bets on the valuation of land

In addition to the possibility of expansion, the acquisition is also part of a long-term investment vision. According to Pinfer’s representatives, the company maintains as a priority the strengthening of its operations and the generation of cash, but considers it important to take advantage of real estate opportunities that may represent asset valuation.

The decision follows the well-known expression of the real estate market: "Who buys land does not make a mistake". In this context, the purchase of the area in Ponta Grossa is seen as an investment opportunity that can bring results in the future, regardless of the installation of a new unit.

The size of the terrain also attracts attention. The 220,000 square meters are equivalent to approximately 22 hectares or about 31 football fields, considering fields with dimensions of 105 by 68 meters.

Investment enhances Ponta Grossa industrial potential

The acquisition represents another business move involving large areas in Ponta Grossa, a municipality that has a privileged location for industrial and logistics activities. The presence of highways, the connection with Curitiba and the access to the Port of Paranaguá are factors that contribute to the attractiveness of the region for companies that seek to expand their operations.

In the case of Pinfer, however, the value of the negotiation, a possible implementation schedule or details about possible structures in the property have not yet been disclosed. For now, the purchase represents a bet on the potential of the region and leaves open a question: can Ponta Grossa receive a new subsidiary of Pinfer in the coming years?

The answer will depend on the next steps of the company, which still evaluates the possibilities of taking advantage of the acquired area.
