PM arrests suspect in aggression that resulted in the death of Fabi Paganini in Ventania
According to witness accounts, the incident reportedly occurred around 5 o'clock at a residence where some people were consuming alcoholic beverages. Fabi Paganini was 30 years old.
The military police arrested on Thursday a woman suspected of committing assaults against a woman identified as Fabi Paganini, 30, who later died of serious injuries, in the municipality of Ventania.
The incident began around 6 a.m. when the police team received information that a woman had entered the Pronto Atendimento Municipal in a serious condition, after suffering assaults in a residence located in the urban area of the municipality.
According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. in a residence where some people consumed alcoholic beverages. The suspect allegedly entered the property and attacked the victim, who was sleeping on a sofa, using a glass bottle. According to reports, the attacks have caused several injuries, including in the head, face, neck, upper limbs, pelvic region and lower limbs.
One of the witnesses also reported having suffered hand cuts during the action. According to testimonies gathered at the scene, the suspect had made threats against the victim, and the disagreement was motivated by jealousy involving the alleged partner of the woman.

Upon arriving at the address, the police team found the victim unconscious, presenting intense bleeding. In view of the gravity of the situation, the police activated the Emergency Mobile Service (SAMU), whose team carried out the first calls and referred the woman to the Pronto Atendimento Municipal.
After the initial care, the victim remained in a serious condition, under medical care and mechanical ventilation. Subsequently, the police team was informed that she did not resist the injuries and died in the health unit.
Prison
With the confirmation of the death, the police continued the steps to locate the suspect, who had fled after the attacks. During patrols on Enélcio Carneiro de Melo Street, near the sidewalk of BR-153, the team visualized the woman, who tried to enter a residence when she noticed the police presence.
She was approached, received a voice of imprisonment and had her constitutional rights informed. The use of handcuffs was carried out in accordance with the applicable legal criteria, aiming at the safety of police officers and the cuss prtodiada. The woman was then referred for medical evaluation and, subsequently, for the appropriate legal procedures.

The witnesses were identified and heard, and the records of the occurrence were forwarded to the competent authority for the adoption of legal measures. The case was registered as a bodily injury followed by death, without prejudice to any legal reassessment of the facts by the authorities responsible for the investigation.
