PM bursts drug stash and seizes LSD, ecstasy and marijuana in Curitiba
Police arrest man for drug trafficking in Cajuru and seize marijuana, LSD, ecstasy and materials used to prepare narcotics
A man was arrested for drug trafficking in Cajuru, in Curitiba, after the Paraná (PMPR) Military Police located a property that, according to the corporation, was used to store, fractionate and distribute different types of narcotics. The action took place on Wednesday (7).
The occurrence was attended by teams of the Operational Company of Preventive Coating (CORP), during diligences carried out in the region. The police arrived at the property and found a variety of drugs and equipment that would be used in the preparation of the substances for commercialization.
Different types of drugs have been seized
According to the Military Police, approximately 1.2 kilograms of marijuana were seized, found in different forms, including flower, bud, pressed, dry and crumble.
The teams also located nine units of LSD, 20 tablets of ecstasy and 46 units of a substance identified by police as “key.”
In addition to narcotics, the property had equipment and materials that, according to the PM, were used to weigh, fractionate, pack and prepare the drugs before distribution.
Scales, sealer and simulacrum were in the property
During the search, the police seized four digital scales, a vacuum sealer, two mobile devices, a firearm drill and a notebook with notes.
Other materials used for fractionation and packaging of the substances were also collected.
The quantity and diversity of the items found reinforced, according to the police, the suspicion that the address functioned as a point of storage and preparation of drugs for later commercialization.
The suspect had already passed through traffic.
According to information raised during the incident, the man arrested already had a passage through the prison system related to the crime of drug trafficking.
After the approach, he received a voice from prison and was sent along with the narcotics, cell phones and other objects seized to the Central of Flagrantes of Curitiba.
The case was under the responsibility of the Civil Police for the judicial police procedures and continuity of investigations.
The Military Police did not inform, so far, if others involved in the distribution of the narcotics were identified during the operation.
