PM executes two arrest warrants in Ponta Grossa in 15 minutes

The Paraná Military Police (PMPR) served two arrest warrants on Tuesday night (13), in different regions of Ponta Grossa. The actions were carried out by teams of the 1st Military Police Battalion (1st BPM) and resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, both wanted by the Justice.

The occurrences were recorded at an interval of approximately 15 minutes, the first in the Contour region and the second in the vicinity of the Cine Teatro Ópera, in the Center.

The first arrest took place around 6:45 p.m. in Rua Visconde de Macaé, in the Contorno region. According to the military police, a team received information about the whereabouts of a 30-year-old woman who had an open arrest warrant.

The police moved to the indicated address and managed to locate the suspect. During the approach, a consultation with the police systems was carried out, which confirmed the existence of a court order related to the crime of drug trafficking.

Before confirmation, the woman received a voice from prison and was referred to the prison system.

The second occurrence was recorded around 7 pm, near the Cine Teatro Ópera, in the central region of Ponta Grossa. According to the police bulletin, a PM team had been called in to provide support in a situation of principle of turmoil in the vicinity of the theater.

During the service, police identified a 47-year-old man about whom there was already information regarding an open arrest warrant.

After approaching and consulting the systems, a civil arrest warrant was confirmed for non-compliance with the maintenance obligation, that is, for non-payment of maintenance.

The man was also detained and routed. According to the Military Police, the two warrants were carried out by teams of the 1st BPM, in an interval of approximately 15 minutes.

The two people were sent to the prison system, where they remained at the disposal of the justice system. The corporation did not disclose the identity of those involved or details of the legal proceedings that gave rise to the arrest warrants.
