Drug trafficking operation in Ponta Grossa seized over 200 portions in Neves neighborhood and ended with a man arrested
An action against drug trafficking in Ponta Grossa ended with a man arrested and more than 200 portions of substances seized on Saturday night in the Neves neighborhood. The incident was attended by a team of the 1st Military Police Battalion (1st BPM).
According to information passed on by the Paraná Military Police (PMPR), the approach occurred around 21:30, during steps carried out by the police in the region. During the action, the team located different portions of substances that would be narcotic.
In all, 26 servings of cocaine-like substance and 48 servings of crack-like substance were found. The police also seized 129 other portions of a substance that, according to the record of the occurrence, had not yet been identified.
Together, the materials found represent 203 portions of substances seized during the police action.
Money, balance and cell phone were seized
In addition to the portions found, the Military Police reported that R$ 550 in cash, a precision scale, a cellular device and plastic packaging were seized.
According to PMPR, the materials were collected during the approach carried out in the Neves neighborhood and began to integrate the occurrence referred to the police authority.
The presence of a precision scale and packaging used to pack materials was also recorded by the police responsible for the service.
The man was referred to the police.
After the approach, a man was arrested and led, along with all the seized objects and substances, to legal proceedings.
The drug trafficking incident in Ponta Grossa was handed over to the competent police authority, which will be responsible for the continuation of the investigation and for the other measures provided for by law.
The Military Police did not disclose, in the material informed about the occurrence, the identity of the man arrested.
The case occurred in the Neves neighborhood, Ponta Grossa region, during an action carried out by the 1st BPM on Saturday night.

According to the balance sheet released by the Military Police, they were seized:
26 servings of cocaine-like substance;
48 servings of crack-like substance;
129 portions of substance not yet identified;
550 in cash;
a precision scale;
a cellular device;
Plastic packaging.
