Police dismantle organized trafficking scheme via app in Reserva
Civil Police in Reserva arrest 19-year-old for trafficking and seize revolver, drugs, radios and cellphones during operation

The Civil Police in Reserve carried out, on the morning of Thursday (1st), an operation to combat the drug trafficking that ended with the arrest of a 19-year-old and the seizure of firearms, drugs, communicating radios and mobile phones.
The action was carried out by the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR), through the 56th Regional Police Station of Reserve, after investigations point to the action of an organized group involved with the illegal trade of narcotics in the municipality.
The search and seizure warrants were issued by the Criminal Court and the Childhood and Youth Court of the Reserve District.
Investigation identified group in message applicative
According to the Civil Police, the investigations advanced after the analysis of electronic devices seized in previous diligences.
During the telematics analysis, the researchers identified the existence of a group used in messaging application that, according to PCPR, served to organize activities related to drug trafficking.
Among the information found were records related to the accounting of the sale of narcotics, division of customers among those involved, logistics of deliveries and collections.
Based on the elements raised during the investigation, the Civil Police requested the judicial measures that resulted in the operation on Thursday.
Revolver, marijuana and radios seized
During the fulfillment of the warrants in the residences of the investigated, the police located various materials.
They were seized:
a .38 caliber revolver;
intact and deflagrated ammunition;
a portion of a substance similar to marijuana;
two communicating radios;
cellular devices;
Knives;
a sword.
The objects were referred to the investigation procedures and should go through the analysis of the Civil Police.
19-year-old man arrested in flagrante
During the operation, a 19-year-old man was arrested in flagrante.
According to PCPR, he will initially be held accountable for the crimes of drug trafficking, association for trafficking, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and corruption of minors.
After the procedures carried out at the police station, the suspect remained at the disposal of the courts.
The police did not disclose the identity of the prisoner.
A 17-year-old teenager is also under investigation.

Against him, a procedure was formalized for the investigation of an infraction analogous to the same crimes investigated in the operation.
After the legal proceedings, the adolescent was handed over to the person in charge, who made a commitment to subsequently present him before the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary.
The Civil Police reported that the investigations are still underway to fully ascertain the actions of those involved and possible participation of other people in the scheme.
According to PCPR, the operation integrates the permanent actions to combat drug trafficking and organized crime in the Reserve and in the Campos Gerais region.
