Ponta Grossa and region under storm warning for this Friday; see how the weekend will look

The formation and intensification of a low-pressure system on the neighbouring countries favor the increase of instability on the state of Paraná on Friday (4). The Simepar details that the first areas of rainfall should develop already in the morning. Throughout the day, the rain advances with the occurrence of rain strokes and thunderstorms. The condition persists during the night, but with periods of improvement interspersed with new rain areas. The temperatures are still above 20°C.

For today, the National Meteorological Institute (Inmet) has already placed storm warning for Ponta Grossa and municipalities in the region. With a degree of severity for potential danger, the warning that follows until the end of the day predicts rain between 20 and 30 mm or up to 50mm, intense winds of 40 to 60 km / h and hailfall. On Saturday (5) the weather remains unstable, but on Sunday (6) the forecast indicates that the weather will be cloudy.

In Ponta Grossa, the forecast points to accumulated 6 millimeters of rain on Friday with temperatures between 11°C and 25°C. On Saturday it can rain 40 millimeters and on Sunday there is no forecast of rain. During these two days, the temperatures are between 9°C and 19°C.

In the city of Castro, there is possibility for 8 millimeters of rain throughout the day today. In the morning, the temperature started at 13°C and can reach a maximum of 26°C. On Saturday, the accumulated rain of 56 millimeters and temperatures between 11°C and 18°C attract attention. On Sunday, there may be rain strokes. On that day, the minimum temperature will be 8°C and maximum up to 14°C.

And in the municipality of Ipiranga, temperatures between today and Sunday vary between 9°C and 26°C. The forecast indicates that on Friday there may be 5 mm of rain and on Saturday 32 mm.
