The celebrations for the 203th anniversary of Ponta Grossa will have special music and performances on the stage of Teatro Ópera. On September 14 and 15, the space receives two free concerts prepared to celebrate the anniversary of the municipality, bringing together different musical formations of the city.
The program begins on Monday (14), at 8 pm, with the presentation of Conserva’s Big Band. The group takes to the stage of Teatro Ópera in a special concert that integrates the commemorative agenda prepared for the 203 years of Ponta Grossa.
On Tuesday (15), the date on which the municipality officially celebrates its birthday, the musical programming begins at 7 pm and will be held in two acts. The concert will bring together the Lyra Band of Campos and the Symphony Orchestra of Ponta Grossa, two important representatives of the musical and cultural tradition of Ponta Grossa.
Music is part of the 203-year program
The concerts are part of the activities carried out to mark another anniversary of Ponta Grossa, bringing the public closer to local cultural production and valuing artists and groups linked to the musical history of the municipality.
The joint presentation of the Lyra Band of the Fields and the Symphony Orchestra will be one of the highlights of the programming of the 15th, providing the public with an evening specially dedicated to the city.
The Teatro Ópera, a traditional cultural space located in the central region of Ponta Grossa, will be the stage for both events.
Admission will be free on both nights.
