Ponta Grossa enters the route of free show in SESI Cultural Circuit
Free show in Ponta Grossa will be presented on October 7th at 2 pm at CINE PG, with clowning, dance and theater
A free show at Ponta Grossa will be attraction on October 7 at 2 p.m. at CINE PG. The city receives the montage “Vale à Pena”, from Cia dos Tortos, which integrates the SESI Cultural Circuit Project and mixes clownery, dance and theater in a reflection on choices, expectations and the paths imposed by life.
The presentation will have free entry and free classification. The show lasts 45 minutes and will be held at CINE PG, located at Rua Dr. Colares, no 436, in the Center.
Ponta Grossa is one of the six cities in Paraná covered by the circulation of the show, which also passes through Guarapuava, Telêmaco Borba, Pinhais, Araucária and Lapa.
Women's Clowning Leads the Story
“Vale à Pena” is a female clown solo starring the actress Paloma Natácia, from Cia dos Tortos.
The central character is Palhita, a woman who believes she was born to be an artist, but who, by the circumstances of life, ends up following the same profession as the family.
The narrative starts with a well-known question: “Who was born first, the egg or the chicken?” For Palhita, however, the most important discussion is not about who came first, but about finding out what each person was born for.
From this point, the character begins to revisit dreams, frustrations and choices that have been left in the way.
Humor to talk about choices and expectations
The show deals with issues related to social expectations, especially those imposed on women over generations.
The assembly addresses topics such as work, productivity, responsibilities, personal desires and the difficulty of finding space to make your own choices.
The proposal is to deal with these issues through the humour and the language of clownery, without losing the lightness.
By revisiting stories of women from her own family, Palhita transforms personal memories into reflections on situations faced by different generations.
The show runs through six cities.
Circulation begins on October 6 in Guarapuava. The following day, October 7th, the free show on Ponta Grossa will be presented at 2pm on CINE PG. Then, the programming follows by Telêmaco Borba, Pinhais, Araucária and Lapa.
The circulation is part of the SESI Cultural Circuit Project.
