Ponta Grossa Municipality opens tender for over R$1 million in Christmas decorations
Tender includes contracting services for installation, dismantling, transportation and maintenance of Christmas decorations, plus 24-hour electrical monitoring; competition is scheduled for November
Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa has opened a tender of more than R$ 1 million for services related to the Christmas decoration of 2026. The notice was published in the edition of Wednesday (21) of the Official Journal of the Municipality and establishes a maximum value of R$ 1,044,195.34 for the hiring of a company specialized in services of assembly, disassembly, transport and maintenance of Christmas ornaments.
The procedure will be carried out through the Electronic Pregão no 169/2026, under the responsibility of the Municipal Secretariat of Culture. The opening of the dispute is scheduled for November 9, 2026, at 9:00 am, through the Purchase Portal of the Federal Government (Compras.gov.br).

According to the official document, the contract also provides for the provision of an electric shift for 24 hours, intended for the service of the structures and equipment used in the decoração natalina.
What is planned in the Christmas auction?
According to the notice issued by the municipal administration, the object of the contract involves specialized services necessary for the installation and conservation of the decorative elements used in the Christmas celebrations of Ponta Grossa. Among the planned activities are the assembly and disassembly of the structures, the transport of objects and ornaments, the maintenance of equipment and the electrical service on a 24-hour basis.
The maximum amount established by the City Hall is R$ 1,044,195.34, an amount that represents the limit foreseen for hiring. It is important to note that this amount does not yet correspond to an expenditure actually made. Since the process is in the bidding phase, the final cost will depend on the outcome of the dispute and the hiring of the services.
The published notice also does not present the detailed distribution of resources among the different activities planned, such as transport, assembly and maintenance.
Bid will be held in November
The Electronic Pregão no 169/2026, identified in Compras.gov.br by the number 113/2026, is scheduled to take place on November 9. The notice is signed by the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Alberto Schramm Portugal, and was issued on October 19, 2026. Interested companies may consult the conditions of participation and the requirements of hiring in the documents made available by the City Hall.
