Ponta Grossa's 203rd Anniversary Parade Will Feature Over 60 Entities; See Who Participates

The Ponta Grossa anniversary parade will bring together more than 60 civil, military and public administration entities on Tuesday (15), in Avenida Vicente Machado, in celebration of the 203 years of the municipality. The program begins at 8 am and the expectation is that at least 30,000 people will attend the event.

The Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Education (SME), confirmed the order of the institutions that will participate in the programming. The parade will feature security forces, educational institutions, social entities, sports groups, clubs, associations and representatives of different sectors of the city.

Concentration begins at 7:30

Due to the large number of participants, the concentration of institutions along the Rua Balduíno Taques will be divided into stages.

The military segments begin to meet from 7:30 a.m. Civilian entities will have a staggered concentration from 8 a.m., according to the schedules defined by the organization.

The Municipal Secretariat of Education reinforces the guidance so that institutions do not start the concentration before the time provided in the official croquis of the parade. The measure seeks to facilitate the organization of the groups and avoid disturbances in the central region.

The program will begin with the participation of security forces and military institutions.
