Pre-candidates for Majestades da 35ª Münchenfest will be presented to the public this Sunday
Presentation takes place during the show of “Menos é Mais” and “Turma do Pagode”, at the Pavilion of Ponta Grossa Events Center. The contest received 34 entries and the selection stage will determine the 30 candidates who will continue in the competition

The public will have the first contact with the pre-candidates for the majesty titles of the 35th Münchenfest this Sunday (20), at Ponta Grossa. The 34 women registered in the contest will be presented during the show of the groups “Less is More” and “Turma do Pagode”, in the Pavilion of the Event Center.
The presentation will be the first moment of the registered in front of the public, but does not yet represent the confirmation of them as official candidates for the contest. As the number of entries exceeded the limit of 30 participants provided for in the regulation, there will be a pre-qualifying stage that will define who will effectively follow in the contest.
At this stage, the videos and photographs submitted during registration will be analyzed. At the end of the process, four pre-candidates will be eliminated and 30 will be qualified for the 35th Münchenfest Majesty’s Contest.
The 2026 edition registered 34 entries, demonstrating interest in the resumption of one of the best-known traditions of the National Dark Chop Festival. This year, the contest also gained regional character, allowing the participation of representatives of the 19 municipalities that make up the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG).
The future majesties will have the mission to represent the Münchenfest and contribute to the dissemination of the culture, traditions and identity of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais.
STREET FOR MORE THAN R$ 50 MIL IN PRIZES
After the pre-qualification stage, the 30 selected candidates officially advance to the contest. The semifinal is scheduled for November 7th and will define the ten finalists.
In this stage, knowledge about the Münchenfest and the region, beauty and presentation in typical costume, as well as sympathy, posture and ease will be evaluated.
The Grand Final and the Coronation of the Majesties will take place on November 15 at the Ponta Grossa Event Center. The ten finalists will be evaluated for their ability to communicate, cultural knowledge, posture and development in dance, in addition to the performance obtained in the Semifinal.
The Queen of the 35th Münchenfest will receive R$ 20,000. The 1st Princess will receive an award of R$ 15,000; the 2nd Princess, R$ 10 thousand; and the Miss Sympathy, R$ 8,000.
35th MÜNCHENFEST
The 35th edition of Münchenfest will be held from 6 to 15 November at the Ponta Grossa Event Center. The program brings together great national shows, typical gastronomy, German bands, the traditional Contest of the Majesties and attractions linked to the culture of the National Festival of the Dark Chope.
Among the confirmed shows are Alok (06/11), Murilo Huff (07/11), Edson & amp; Hudson (13/11) and Jiraya Uai, Pedro Paulo & amp; Alex (PPA) and Country Beat (14/11). On November 15th, admission will be free to “München Rock Day”, with performances by regional bands.
