Prefeitura starts new traffic light operations on Antonio Saad this Wednesday in PG

Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Citizenship and Public Security, has completed the installation of a new traffic light at the intersection of Antônio Saad and Ercílio Slaviero streets, in the Boa Vista neighborhood. The device, installed in one of the accesses to the new Anita Garibaldi connection, will begin operations on Wednesday (7).
According to the Superintendence of Traffic and Road Safety, the implementation of the traffic light is part of the actions of the Municipality aimed at improving traffic in the region. In addition to the new equipment, the Superintendence foresees, for the coming weeks, other interventions, including the reinforcement of the signage and punctual adaptations in some sections.
According to the Superintendent of Traffic and Road Safety, João Rodrigo Pontes, the guidance to drivers is for them to redouble their attention when passing by the place and observe the indications of the traffic agents who will be present in the region.
“We will have teams conducting constant patrols and guidance during the first days of operation of the traffic light, in order to ensure that the new signage is respected, reinforcing the safety of all who transit the region,” he said.
