The organization of the 9th Princess of the Fields Race and Walk announced, on Tuesday (22), the reopening of registrations for the event, which will be held next Sunday (27), in Ponta Grossa. After the closing of the initial deadline, last Sunday (20), the organization decided to make available another 200 vacancies to meet the search for new participants.
According to information passed on to BnT Online, the decision was made after requests from people who were unable to guarantee participation within the initial deadline. This will give interested parties a new opportunity to register in the available modalities.
Applications will remain open until the additional 200 places are filled. The new lot is expected to close on Tuesday (22) or in the next few days, depending on demand.
How to register for the Princess of the Fields Race
Those interested in participating in the 9th Princess of the Fields Race and Walk must register on the Ticket Sports platform, responsible for registering athletes.
The competition will feature 5 km and 10 km races, as well as walking and Kids race, bringing together professional runners, amateur athletes, children and families.
According to the information previously disclosed by the organization, registrations for the 5 km and 10 km races cost R$ 69.90, while the Kids walk and race have a rate of R$ 29.90.
The Athlete Kit includes chest number, participation medal, custom ecobag and an exclusive event sock. The official t-shirt can be purchased separately for R$ 50.

The race will be held next Sunday.
The 9th edition of the Princess of the Fields Race and Hike is scheduled for September 27. The initial expectation of the organization was to gather approximately 1,200 participants.
Created in 2016, the event integrates the Ponta Grossa sports calendar and brings together athletes of different ages and levels of experience.
One of the novelties of this edition is the expansion of the award of the general classification male and female. The top five will receive prizes, and the top three will also be entitled to cash amounts.
The first place will receive R$ 1 thousand, trophy and ticket voucher. The second will receive R$ 700, while the third will be entitled to R$ 500, in addition to the other prizes provided for in the regulation.
Withdrawal of kits begins on Friday
Participants must collect the kits in the garage of the Princess of the Fields, located at Avenida Anita Garibaldi, no 861, in the Orfans neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa.
On Friday (25), the delivery will take place from 14h to 19h. On Saturday (26), athletes will be able to remove the materials between 9 am and 2 pm.
On Sunday (27), the withdrawal will be made from 5.30 am to 6.30 am, exclusively for participants who reside in other cities.
Runners of Ponta Grossa will be required to remove the kits on Friday or Saturday.
The event will also have a solidarity character.
In addition to sports activities, the Princess of the Fields Race will have a social initiative. A part of the funds raised with the registration will be allocated to the Pequeno Anjo Center, an institution of Ponta Grossa that serves children and adolescents in a situation of vulnerability.
The contribution will be used to assist in the daily expenses and needs of the entity, which currently hosts approximately 40 young people.
With the opening of the additional 200 places, the organization expands the opportunity for community participation in the race, which brings together sport, health and solidarity.
