The scheduled schedule for this Friday (11) at the Mansion Villa Hilda, in Ponta Grossa, was cancelled due to the forecast of storms and weather alerts for the region. The activities were part of the actions related to the 100 years of historical heritage.
The information was confirmed by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of Ponta Grossa, which decided to suspend the programming in the face of the possibility of storms just during the period in which the activities would be carried out.
According to the Secretariat, the measure was adopted as a form of prevention and safety for the public, workers and other participants involved in the programming.
“Considering the storm alerts foreseen for the schedule, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture informs that today’s schedule, in the Mansion Villa Hilda, is cancelled,” the folder said.
Celebration of 100 years
Friday’s schedule was related to the celebrations of the centenary of the Villa Hilda Mansion, one of the historical and cultural heritage of Ponta Grossa.
The property is one of the main architectural symbols of the city and currently houses activities related to culture and the preservation of local memory.
With the cancellation, those who wanted to participate in the activities must be attentive to the official channels of the City Hall and the Municipal Secretariat of Culture for any information about a new date or changes in the commemorative schedule.
The suspension comes amid warnings of adverse weather conditions expected for Ponta Grossa and the region on Friday.
So far, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture has not informed a new date for the realization of the canceled activities.
