The Child Magic Project at Ponta Grossa is mobilizing the community to collect bullets, lollipops, soft drinks and other items that will be used in a party prepared for approximately 300 children. The action will be held on October 25, while donations can be delivered until next day 20.

The initiative is coordinated by Débora Evelin and Fernanda and mainly serves children and families from the regions of Ouro Verde 1, Ouro Verde 2, Ouro Verde 3, Cerejeira and nearby neighborhoods.

According to the organizers, the proposal is to hold a party open to children, without establishing a restricted list of beneficiaries.

“Our party is for everyone, without restrictions. Our greatest pleasure is to be able to help, welcome and embrace everyone with our action”, highlights Débora.

Project was born in 2023

The initiative began in 2023 with the name Happy Children. This year, it was called the Children’s Magic Project and the leaders are working to expand their work through the future NGO Florescer e Acolher.

The intention is to make the work go beyond toy and candy campaigns. Among the next objectives is the collection of food for families in situations of vulnerability.

Debora and Fernanda claim to know the reality of the community where they operate. They have lived in the region for several years and explain that contact with the families helped to identify different needs.

“The purpose of the project is not only to raise money, but to provide joy for several children who often do not even have the basics,” explains Débora.

Party will have cinema, games and food

The program prepared for the 25th aims to provide an afternoon of coexistence and fun. The organization provides cinema with popcorn, trampoline, games, dance and recreational activities.

Hot dogs, soft drinks, cakes and sweets will also be offered.

Among the planned games are the undead and the dance of “hand, knee and foot”. According to those responsible, the intention is to participate in the activities together with the children and provide an experience that goes beyond the simple delivery of food or gifts.

“We don’t just want to give food and go away. We're going to play with them like we played when we were kids. The party will certainly be full of joy and fun,” says Débora.

More than 300 toys have already been delivered

Before the preparation of the party, the project carried out another action aimed at Children's Day. In partnership with Maxuel, more than 300 toys were distributed to children in the community.

Now, the group focuses its efforts on collecting the products needed for the October 25th schedule.

Those who can collaborate can donate mainly bullets, lollipops and soft drinks. Other types of support for the holding of the party are also welcome.

How to help

Donations will be received by October 20.

Anyone wishing to help the Child Magic Project or obtain more information can contact Debora Evelin directly by phone (42) 98414-4736.

The organization reinforces that the project works through donations and that all the material collected is destined to the actions carried out with the children and families served.
