Project Corujinha Esporte Clube in Ponta Grossa serves about 50 children and seeks sponsors to expand activities and championships
The Owl Sports Club Project in Ponta Grossa has been using football as a tool for social inclusion and integration of children in the São Marcos neighborhood, Uvaranas region. Created in March 2026, the initiative already serves approximately 50 children between the ages of 6 and 13.
The trainings are conducted in the São Marcos society field three times a week. On Tuesdays, the activities take place from 7pm to 8:30pm. On Thursdays, training is carried out from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., while on Fridays, children participate in activities from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The main objective of the Owl Sport Club is to promote social inclusion through sport, offering the children of the community the opportunity to practice football regularly and participate in competitions.
Project already participates in competition in Ponta Grossa
Even with a few months of existence, Owl already participates in the League UESP of Football Society. The intention of those responsible for the project is to expand the participation of the teams and take the children to other competitions held in Ponta Grossa and also in other cities.
To make this possible, however, the project seeks companies, traders and supporters interested in contributing to the continuity of activities.
As it is a social project, the support of sponsors is important mainly to enable children to participate in new championships and allow the initiative to continue growing.
Currently, about 50 children are cared for, but the expectation is that the number will increase as the project becomes more known among families in the region.
