R$ 6.2 million: Reserve starts works on the last section of Estrada do Vau
The first section, 600 meters long, has already been completed. Now, the work will proceed from the bridge to the locality, totaling three kilometers of length.
On Tuesday (20) the municipality of Reserva announced the beginning of the works of paving in rigid concrete of the second and last stretch, with 2.4 km, of the Estrada do Vau. The investment in this stage is R$ 6.2 million.
The first section, 600 meters, has already been completed. Now, the work will continue from the bridge to the locality, totaling three kilometers in length. The current project, which has its own resources, has undergone readjustments aimed at greater durability, since the flow of heavy vehicles in the region is intense. According to the documentation, the works include drainage, adjustments in the bed and sublet, in addition to a track with nine meters wide, seven meters destined for the main road and the rest for the bike path.
“You know how much this work is expected. It has been promised several times, but now we are taking this important project off the paper. It is a work done for you, a citizen who uses this road to work, to return home, and also for you, residents of rural communities that depend on it on a daily basis. We are starting the work,” said Mayor Lucas Machado, accompanied by Secretary Lucas Santana Bergmann and the owner of the winning company.

The firm contracted is the same one that is executing the paving, also in concrete, of 20 kilometers of the road that connects Campinas Belas to the border with Ivaí, in partnership with the State. The largest contract ever tendered in the history of Reserva, in the value of R$ 28 million.
