Rafain Churrascaria Show renews show and opens auditions for dancers in Foz

The Rafain Churrascaria Show, in Foz do Iguaçu, has begun a broad redesign of its traditional Latin American show, presented about 45 years ago. The new phase of production will have changes in the artistic structure, new numbers and greater integration between dance, live music, dramaturgy, costumes, scenography and technological resources.

The proposal is to preserve the identity that has consolidated the spectacle over the last decades, but to present to the public a more modern, dynamic and theatrical experience.

As part of this renovation, Rafain also opened an audition for new dancers, scheduled for September 9 at 3 pm, in the barbecue itself.

Show gains new language

The reformulation aims to transform the presentations of different Latin American countries, rhythms and cultural manifestations into a more integrated narrative.

The transitions between the numbers become part of the scenic experience, with greater use of technology and visual elements. The new production will also have re-readings of moments already known by the public, in addition to new numbers created especially for this phase.

To lead the project, Rafain brought an artistic team from Rio de Janeiro led by the choreographer Marcelo Misailidis, first dancer of the Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro and professional with a performance in the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro.

Rafain Churrascaria audition seeks new dancers

The renewal also involves the expansion of the cast. Men and women aged 18 and over will be able to participate in the selection to join the new show’s dance body.

Among the requirements are experience in dance and availability for hiring from Monday to Saturday, with an hourly load of eight hours per day.

The production seeks versatile professionals, committed and with scenic presence to integrate a show that brings together different styles and artistic languages.
