Residents demand improvements on street near Ponta Grossa City Hall

Residents of Reinaldo Ribas Silveira street in Ponta Grossa sought the BnT Portal to report problems related to the lack of maintenance of the road. The street, located in the Ronda region, is a few blocks from the Prefeitura Municipal, but, according to residents, has been facing infrastructure difficulties for years.

According to the reports sent to the report, the community has already made several requests and protocols with the municipality, in addition to seeking dialogue with political representatives and with the municipal administration. However, residents say that so far they have not had a definitive solution to the situation.

Among the main complaints are the holes, the lack of paving and the difficulties of circulation on the street, especially during periods of heavy rain. According to residents, at times, vehicles find it difficult to travel around the site and even access the garages of the residences.

The situation worries several families who live in Reinaldo Ribas Silveira street and depend on the road daily for entry and exit from their homes. The residents say that the lack of improvements causes disturbances and ask the municipality to reassess the conditions of the stretch.

“This is a situation that has been going on for years. We made protocols, talked with representatives and sought a solution, but we continue to face the same problems,” residents report.

The charge is now for Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Secretariat responsible for the maintenance of public roads, to evaluate the site and inform what measures can be adopted to solve the problems presented by the community.

Portal BnT contacted Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa to seek information on the situation of Reinaldo Ribas Silveira street, the existing protocols and possible actions planned for the site.

The report will follow the case and update the matter as soon as there is an official position of the municipality.
