Lottery prizes from Nota Paraná are due in December; Finance Secretary warns that R$94 million in credits and prizes were not redeemed in 2026
Residents of Ponta Grossa, Castro and Carambeí are among consumers who may lose $1000 prizes of Nota Paraná for lack of ransom. The alert was issued by the Secretariat of State of the Treasury (Sefa), which identified 39 awards not yet withdrawn in 18 municipalities in Paraná. The values have a deadline to expire between November and December 2026.
In the Campos Gerais region, three prizes of R$ 1,000 remain awaiting rescue: one in Ponta Grossa, one in Castro and another in Carambeí. All are due in December. If the winners do not request the transfer within the deadline, they will lose the right to the money.
R$ 94 million of the Nota Paraná have ceased to be rescued in 2026
The survey of the Secretariat of the Treasury reveals a scenario that draws attention. Between January and October 2026, approximately R$ 94 million in ICMS credits and Nota Paraná awards were no longer redeemed by program participants.
Despite the high value, there was a reduction of approximately 24% compared to the same period of 2025, when the total reached R$ 123.7 million. According to the rules of the program, credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are generated. After this period, the amounts not redeemed return to the State Treasury and can be used in the financing of public services.
