June has fallen compared to May

The largest falls were in clothing and fabrics (-17.74%), footwear (-10.83%), supermarkets (-8.05%), department stores (-7.73%) and fuels (-7.03%).

According to the survey, this reduction occurs in a comparison with May, the month marked by Mother’s Day, one of the main dates on the retail calendar.

The Business Development Coordinator of Fecomércio PR, Rodrigo Schmidt, assessed that the result demonstrates a still resilient retail, despite moderate growth and factors such as debt, high interest rates and greater credit restriction.
