Same attack dogs that attacked a mother with a baby advance against woman in Uvaranas
Dog attack in Ponta Grossa scares woman leaving building with dog in Uvaranas. Resident says they would be the same from another case.
A woman leaving a building with a dog was caught and attacked by a group of dogs in the Uvaranas neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa. The case allegedly occurred near Geraldo Pelanda Street and draws attention to the fact that it happened in the same region where another woman, who was walking with a baby in the stroller, was attacked by three large dogs last Sunday (21).
According to information sent to BnT Online, the woman had just left the building accompanied by the animal when the dogs approached and advanced. Images of the moment show the movement of the animals near the entrance of the building.
Residents say they are the same dogs.
According to the report, the animals involved in this new episode would be the same as the attack on September 21, when a woman walked around the neighborhood with the baby in a stroller and two small dogs.
The building where the new episode took place is in the Geraldo Pelanda Street region, in Uvaranas. According to the report, the first attack occurred in a side street of the building.
To date, there is no official confirmation that the dogs seen in this new case are effectively the same ones involved in the previous occurrence.
Previous Attack Ends with Wounded Woman
In the case recorded on Sunday, three large dogs would have escaped from a residence and advanced against a woman who was accompanied by the baby and two small dogs. The victim suffered an injury to his hand while trying to protect himself and the animals. The baby had no reported injuries.
Civil police investigated the incident and heard the victim, witnesses and the animal guardian. According to the investigation, the dogs had already escaped in other opportunities, a situation that had been generating concern among residents of the region.
The tutor was held responsible, in thesis, for omission of caution in the care of the animal and culprit bodily injury. A circumstantial term of criminal offence has been worked out and should be analyzed by the judiciary.
The new episode reinforces the concern of residents of Uvaranas with the circulation of dogs without adequate containment in the region.
