"Sandro Alex expects many votes in Ponta Grossa," he says about Elizabeth's support for Moro

The candidate for the Government of Paraná Sandro Alex (PSD) spoke on Friday (11), in Ponta Grossa, about the political scenario in the city and the movement of local leaders during a press conference accompanied by BnT Online in the Commercial, Industrial and Business Association of Ponta Grossa (ACIPG).

Asked by the BnT about the adherence of the leaders of Ponta Grossa to his political project, in a scenario in which prefeita Elizabeth Schmidt is next to the candidate Sergio Moro (PL), Sandro avoided entering into a direct confrontation and concentrated the response on the investments made in the municipality and on the Campos Gerais.

The candidate also cited interventions in the region, such as works related to BR-277, accesses and projects to expand the infrastructure.

“What the people want to see is the result happening. That is why we are there working hard, alongside the governador Ratinho Junior, bringing investments, bringing jobs and securing infrastructure for Ponta Grossa and for the entire Campos Gerais region.”

Political dispute in Ponta Grossa

The position of Elizabeth Schmidt puts two relevant political groups of Ponta Grossa on different sides in the state election. On one side is Sandro Alex, a top-notch and candidate supported by governador Ratinho Junior. Sergio Moro has the support of the mayor of the city.

After the conference, during the live broadcast of BnT Online, the evaluation presented was that Sandro sought to minimize the impacts of Moro’s political advancement in the municipality and to demonstrate confidence in the relationship built with the voters and leaders of Campos Gerais.

During his time at ACIPG, Sandro also highlighted numbers related to state infrastructure. According to the candidate, there are currently about 1,400 kilometers of works underway in the Paraná. “The Paraná is a construction site,” he said.

Prefect of Carambeí Declares Support

The agenda also brought together leaders from the region. In an interview with BnT Online, the mayor of Carambeí, Elisângela Pedroso, declared support for the candidacy of Sandro Alex and stated that mayors of Campos Gerais work for the continuity of the current state project.

According to Elisângela, having a Ponta Grossa candidate in the contest represents an opportunity to expand the political presence of the Campos Gerais in the Paraná Government. “What we mayors want is continuity, continuity of what is good for our city, but also for the Paraná,” he said.

ACIPG intends to receive other Paraná Government candidates to present the main business sector demands of Ponta Grossa. Among the names planned are Sergio Moro and Requião Filho.
