The amount of R$ 444 thousand is part of the complementary financial assistance from the Union destined for the payment of the nursing salary floor for healthcare professionals

The Santa Casa of Mercy of Ponta Grossa is among the health institutions contemplated with resources destined to complement the national salary floor of nursing. The report is contained in a resolution of the Secretary of State of Health (Sesa), which regulates the distribution of the values sent by the National Health Fund to Paraná to assist in the fulfillment of salary levels of nurses, nursing technicians, nursing assistants and midwives.
The resource should reach professionals
According to the resolution, the resources are specifically intended to complement the salaries of professionals benefiting from the national nursing level. The Government of the State shall determine that the credits shall be made directly into the accounts of the qualified service providers. Institutions that receive the amounts must keep, for at least five years, documents proving that the money was effectively used to pay the salary supplement, such as payrolls and bank receipts.
The regulation also establishes that the state manager must pass on the resources to the creditors authorized within 15 days after the receipt of the values sent by the National Health Fund.
Accountability is mandatory
In addition to receiving the values, hospitals and other beneficiary establishments must be accountable for the application of resources. According to the resolution, institutions have up to 180 days after the deposit to submit the necessary documentation.
If there is no accountability, it is made in an incomplete way or the documents are rejected, the Secretary of State of Health may retain resources for future transfers until the situation is regularized. The spreadsheet published by Sesa identifies the values as referring to Ordinance No. 12.125/2026, instalment of August 2026, within the Complementary Financial Assistance for the nursing floor.
Region also appears in the list
In addition to Santa Casa de Ponta Grossa, other institutions of Campos Gerais appear among the beneficiaries. The Hospital de Caridade de Palmeira, for example, is related to transfer of R$ 36,810.45. There is also a payment of R$ 28,079.20 destined to the Santa Casa of Mercy of Ponta Grossa, identified in the spreadsheet as referring to the Castro branch.
The values are part of the mechanism created to allow states and municipalities to comply with the national level defined for the categories of nursing.
