Santa Claus arrives at Palladium and enchants families in Ponta Grossa
Shopping was packed with children and family members who accompanied the arrival of Santa Claus in a carriage; the Christmas decoration features a 10-meter tree and the scent of vanilla.
The arrival of Santa Claus in the Palladium moved Ponta Grossa on Saturday (7) and gathered many families for the opening of the Christmas schedule of the mall. The good old man disembarked in a carriage, delighting children and adults who were eagerly awaiting the special moment. The celebration also featured a 10-meter-high Christmas tree themed decoration, elements inspired by sweets and vanilla scent.
The images of the event show the crowded mall of children accompanied by parents and family, all in expectation of seeing the most traditional character of Christmas. The movement marked the beginning of the Christmas celebrations in the enterprise and turned Saturday afternoon into a special moment for the public.
Santa Claus arrives by carriage and enchants children
The arrival of Santa Claus took place at 4 p.m., in an electric carriage prepared especially for the occasion. The event had free entry and a schedule that included presentations from My Dance Ballet School and the participation of themed characters.
The atmosphere of expectation took over the mall, with families gathered to accompany the entrance of the good old man.
The celebration officially marked the beginning of the Palladium Ponta Grossa Shopping Christmas schedule, which is expected to attract city dwellers and visitors to the Campos Gerais over the coming weeks.
Christmas decoration has 10-meter tree and vanilla aroma
In addition to the arrival of Santa Claus, another highlight is the 2026 decoração natalina. The mall bet on a setting inspired by the Candy Stick universe, with references to traditional Christmas candy sticks.
In the Main Event Square, a 10-metre-high illuminated tree draws the attention of visitors. The space also brings together giant sweets, smaller trees, characters and decorative elements that refer to the universe of children’s stories.
One of the novelties this year is the sensory experience provided by a large decorative teapot, responsible for spreading vanilla aroma to the environment.
The proposal is to involve visitors not only with the lights and colors of Christmas, but also with elements that refer to the emotional memories of this time of year.
Santa stays at the Palladium until December 24
Those who have not been able to follow Santa’s arrival at the Palladium this Saturday will still have the opportunity to visit the good old man.
It will remain in the mall until December 24, in a space prepared to receive children and family.
During the season, children will be able to deliver their cards, make Christmas orders and record photographs with the character.
The program also represents a tour option for families of Ponta Grossa and municipalities of the Campos Gerais region who visit the city during the end of the year period.
With the beginning of the Christmas celebrations, the expectation is of greater circulation of visitors in the enterprise in the coming weeks.
