São Mateus do Sul opens PSS for teacher hiring
Registrations for PSS are free and must be done exclusively online until October 18th.
The municipality of São Mateus do Sul has opened registrations for the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) no 003/2026, for the temporary hiring of teachers who will work in the municipal network units. Registration is free and must be made exclusively by the internet (here) until October 18th.
The selection process offers opportunities for two roles. For Professor, with a 20-hour weekly workload, 35 vacancies of wide competition are provided, in addition to three vacancies reserved for candidates of African descent, two for Persons with Disabilities (PcD) and reservation registration. The remuneration is R$ 2,565.32.
For Professor of Educação Infantil, with 40 hours per week load, there are 25 vacancies of wide competition, in addition to two vacancies reserved for candidates of African descent, two for People with Disabilities and reservation registration. The expected remuneration is R$ 5,130.63.
Selection will be by title analysis
The classification of the candidates will be carried out through the analysis of titles, considering criteria such as academic training, improvement courses and professional experience in teaching.
Among the requirements for the position of Teacher 20h, the candidate must have a Full Degree in addition to the Master's Degree / Teachers' Training at the middle level or a degree in Pedagogy or Higher Normal.
For Teacher of Educação Infantil 40h, middle level training in the Magisterium / Teacher Training modality or undergraduate degree in Pedagogy or Higher Normal are accepted.
The candidate who meets the requirements for both roles can apply for a Teacher and another for Teacher of Educação Infantil. In this case, separate registrations must be made. If you are hired for one of the functions, you will not be able to subsequently assume the other.
Timeline
After the closure of the registrations, the approval of the registrations is scheduled for October 20. The provisional classification is expected to be released on 27 October, and the approval of the classification with the final result is scheduled for 6 November 2026.
The PSS will be valid for 12 months from the publication of the approval, and may be extended once for the same period, according to the interest of the Municipal Administration.
The candidates must follow the official publications referring to the selection process, including results and future calls, in the Official Journal of the Municipality.
