Photos show collision between S10 and Fox in Ponta Grossa. The woman became unconscious, needed intubation, and two other people received treatment.
New photos of a serious accident on Ponta Grossa, recorded late on Tuesday, show the details of the collision involving a white Chevrolet S10 pickup truck and a black Volkswagen Fox. The crash occurred at the intersection of Osório Subtil Marçal and Exídio Silva Brizola streets, in the Contorno neighborhood, and left three people in need of emergency services.
As previously reported by Portal BnT Online, a 36-year-old woman who was a passenger of the Fox suffered very serious injuries, became unconscious and still needed to be intubated inside an ambulance of the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu).
The new photographs recorded during the incident show the vehicles involved and the movement of the relief teams that worked in the care of victims.
Understand how the collision happened
According to preliminary information found on the spot, the black Volkswagen Fox, occupied by two people, was traveling through the Rua Exídio Silva Brizola and would have started a conversion to access the Rua Osório Subtil Marçal.
During the maneuver, the car was involved in a collision with the Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, which followed the Osório Subtil Marçal, towards the Event Center.
The initial suspicion is that the Fox driver did not notice the approach of the truck. However, the exact circumstances of the accident will still have to be clarified by the authorities.
Woman was intubated and driver had to be rescued
The passenger of the Fox was the victim who presented the most serious picture. According to the information raised during the care, she was unconscious and was classified as code 3 by emergency teams.
The woman had to be intubated inside the ambulance Bravo 5 of the Samu, given the seriousness of the injuries.
The driver of the Fox was trapped inside the vehicle and needed the intervention of the teams of the Fire Department to be removed. After the rescue, he received care in an ambulance from Siate.
The third victim was in the S10 truck.
In addition to the two occupants of the Fox, a woman who was in the Chevrolet S10 pickup truck also received care from a team from the Samu.
So far, no detailed information has been released about the health status of this third victim.
The incident mobilized teams of the Fire Department, Samu, Siate, Military Police and patrulhamento viário. The traffic at the intersection had to be controlled during the rescue work.
