September 7 Parade in Ponta Grossa will have 35 entities; see time and map

The Sept. 7 parade in Ponta Grossa will bring together 35 civilian and military entities on Monday (7) in the central region of the city. The programming will be held at Avenida Vicente Machado, with a scheduled start at 9.30am, while the concentration of participants begins earlier in the Rua Balduíno Taques and in the cross roads.

The order of the institutions and the distribution of the participants were defined by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Education (SME). The official croquis for the parade has already been made available by the Municipality.

Concentration begins at 8 o'clock

According to the schedule released by the City Hall, the military segments begin to concentrate from 8 o’clock on Balduíno Taques Street and on cross-sectional streets. The following is the organization of the civil entities that will integrate the parade.

The public, in turn, will follow the passage of the institutions through Avenida Vicente Machado, traditional stage of the civic celebrations of September in Ponta Grossa.

The start of the parade is scheduled for 9:30. In total, 35 civilian and military institutions are confirmed by the organization.

Parade will have theme linked to the Battle of Tuiuti

This year, the celebrations of the Independence of Brazil in Ponta Grossa will have as theme “160 years of the victory of Tuiuti: the battle of the patrons!”. The theme had already been announced by the City Council during the opening of registrations for institutions interested in participating in the event.

The organization of the September 7 parade is carried out by the Municipal Secretariat of Education in partnership with the 5th Armored Cavalry Brigade.

The Municipal Secretariat of Education made available on the official website the section intended for Croqui – Parade on 07/09, with the organization of the participants and the places intended for concentration.

The document is especially important for members of the institutions that will parade, since it indicates the points of organization in Rua Balduíno Taques and in the nearby roads before the entrance to Avenida Vicente Machado.
