Sergio Moro leads governor race in Paraná with 50.09%

The partial count for the Government of the Paraná points Sergio Moro (PL) in the lead of the dispute on Sunday (4). With 38.98% of the electoral sections totaled, the candidate appears with 50.09% of the valid votes, according to the data displayed by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

To date, Moro has received 1,217,772 votes. In second place is Sandro Alex (PSD), with 606.492 votes, equivalent to 24.95% of the valid votes.

Requião Filho appears near Sandro Alex

In third place is Requião Filho (PDT), which registers 579.174 votes, or 23.82% of the valid votes.

The difference between Sandro Alex and Requião Filho, at this point in the counting, is 27,318 votes, keeping the dispute for the following positions quite close.

Luiz França (Mission) appears with 18,059 votes, corresponding to 0.74%. Other candidates also participate in the contest, and the numbers may change as new ballot boxes are added.

Paraná has 38.98% of sections totaled

The Paraná has 27,142 polling stations. In the partial recorded by the Justiça Eleitoral system, 10,579 sections had already been totalized, the equivalent of 38.98%.

In total, 2,645,289 votes had already been counted. The system showed 2,430,365 valid votes, in addition to 100,035 blank votes, corresponding to 3.78%, and 114,260 null votes, equivalent to 4.32%.

There were also 629 votes annulled sub judice in the partial.

The result is still partial.

The numbers are still partial and may change over the course of the count. With less than 40% of the sections totaled, there is still a significant share of the Paraná votes to be counted.
