Sindilojas launches "Vote in Local People" campaign for 2026 elections

The “Vote in People From Here” campaign was launched by Sindilojas Ponta Grossa and Region with the stated aim of stimulating discussion about the political representativeness of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais in the 2026 elections. According to the entity, the initiative has no party binding nor expresses support for specific candidacies, proposing that voters know trajectories and proposals before making their choices.

Sindilojas is a representative entity of Ponta Grossa retail trade and region and claims to act in the defense of interests of the sector and in the promotion of actions aimed at the development of regional trade.

According to the campaign launch material, the proposal is to draw the attention of voters to candidates who are aware of the demands of the Campos Gerais and present commitments related to the region.

The message of the initiative addresses topics such as health, safety, infrastructure, job generation, professional qualification, trade and public services.

Campaign does not indicate candidates

According to Sindilojas, the initiative will not present specific names or parties.

The president of the entity, José Carlos Loureiro Neto, says that the proposal is to encourage voters to know the candidates and analyze their proposals.

“Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais have great economic, social and political importance for Paraná. We need to turn that force into representativeness. The campaign does not indicate names or parties, but invites each voter to meet the candidates, evaluate their proposals and observe who really has a commitment to our region,” Loureiro said in the material released by Sindilojas.

José Carlos Loureiro Neto holds the presidency of Sindilojas Ponta Grossa and Region and also integrates the current management of Fecomércio Paraná as vice-president, according to the entity’s own publication.

Regional representation is the theme of the initiative

Sindilojas argues that representatives with ties to the Campos Gerais can expand the presence of regional demands in state and federal discussions.

This is a position defended by the entity itself in the campaign. The choice of candidates in the elections remains an individual decision of each voter, who can compare proposals, trajectories, public performance and commitments presented during the electoral period.

According to Loureiro, the intention is to broaden the discussion on the presence of Campos Gerais in decision spaces.

“When we elect people who know our challenges closely, we expand the possibility of having a more present and connected with the reality of the population,” he said.

Campaign will be announced during election period

The program provides for the dissemination of the message “Vote in Gente Daqui” in social networks, institutional channels of Sindilojas and awareness materials.

The initiative aims to reach entrepreneurs, workers, consumers and residents of the municipalities of the region.

Sindilojas also states that the campaign seeks to encourage a free and responsible choice, with analysis of the proposals and the trajectory of the candidates. The entity has been promoting other actions related to the strengthening of regional trade and claims to represent the retail sector of Ponta Grossa.
