Six people injured after vehicle rollover on PR-239 in Sengés

A landing on PR-239 in Sengés left six people injured during the early hours of Saturday (5). The accident occurred at km 08+950 of the state highway, in the stretch between Sengés and Itararé (SP), involving a Fiat Uno with plates from the municipality of Sengés.

According to information from the Piraí do Sul Road Police Station, responsible for attending to the occurrence, the accident was recorded around midnight. The vehicle was traveling along the PR-239 in the direction of Itararé when, for reasons that have not yet been detailed, it ended up being involved in a crash of the type toppling.

The driver of the vehicle, a 48-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries and was referred to the Pronto Atendimento of the municipality of Sengés for medical attention.

In addition to the driver, five other passengers were in the car. A 49-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man, a 17-year-old teenager and a 10-year-old child have suffered minor injuries and have also been referred for care at the municipal health unit.

The landing on PR-239 mobilized service teams and drew attention to the number of occupants involved in the accident. Despite the impact of the occurrence, there was no record of fatalities.

After the initial care, the vehicle was collected at the yard of the Piraí do Sul Road Police Station due to administrative pending.

The case should continue with the administrative procedures carried out by the bodies responsible for the supervision of the highway.
