Slide on Ronda leaves two victims dead in Ponta Grossa

A landslide in the Round on Ponta Grossa mobilizes emergency teams on the morning of Thursday (10). Preliminary information indicates that two people died in the incident: a man and a woman.

A child was also hit and continues to be treated by the teams in a very serious state. The case was registered in a region near the INSS, in the Ronda neighborhood. The point where the landslide occurred is difficult to access, located in a dead end street, with a stretch of dirt road.

The large amount of mud on site also makes it difficult for the teams working on the occurrence to move.

The house would have collapsed after the rain

According to preliminary information obtained by BnT Online, after the rains recorded in the region, a residence would have collapsed on the residents.

The exact circumstances that caused the collapse must still be confirmed by the authorities responsible for the care. To date, there is no official information detailing how the structure of the residence was hit.

Teams of the 2nd Group of Firefighters were mobilized to the address and work on site. The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was also activated, with a request for medical support.

So far, the identities and ages of the victims have not been officially confirmed.

The emergency teams are still mobilized in the region, where access is hindered by the dirt road, the mud and the characteristics of the hit point.
