Small admirer of the PM gets surprise from 17th BPM police officers
17th BPM visits Mateus Henrique in Paraná and makes a special surprise on the birthday of the small admirer of the Military Police.
The 17th BPM visits Mateus Henrique in a special tribute held at the Paraná during the celebration of the boy’s fiveth birthday, who is being treated for a tumor in the brain. Two Rádio Patrulha teams and a ROTAM team participated in the surprise prepared for the small admirer of the Military Police.
The presence of the police turned the anniversary into an even more special moment for Mateus Henrique. During the visit, the military gave the boy a miniature of a military police vehicle, a gift that brought joy and emotion to the celebration.
Small admirer of the Military Police
Matthew’s connection to the corporation goes far beyond the anniversary celebration. According to the parents, the boy is a great admirer of the military police and usually demonstrates this affection even during his treatment routine.
Mateus makes sure to attend the consultations, examinations and treatment sessions at the Hospital Erastino wearing his uniform of the Military Police.
In the hospital, he is already affectionately known as a “little cop.”
The policeman’s clothes and puppets that accompany Mateus during some of these moments have become symbols of strength and courage for the child during the challenges faced in the treatment.
Surprise on the 5th anniversary
Upon learning of the boy’s admiration for the corporation, members of the 17th Military Police Battalion participated in the celebration of his five years.
The action featured two teams from Rádio Patrulha and a team from ROTAM, allowing Matthew to be close to those he considers his great heroes.
The delivery of the small car completed the surprise and marked the meeting between the birthday boy and the police.
Policemen highlight Matthew's courage
For Mateus Henrique, military police officers represent examples of courage and protection. However, for the members of the 17th BPM who participated in the tribute, it was the boy who gave a special demonstration of strength.
Even facing a routine of consultations, examinations and treatment, Mateus maintains his admiration for the Military Police and finds in the uniform an incentive to continue facing their challenges.
The visit of the 17th BPM to Mateus Henrique ended with moments of affection, joy and recognition, making the five-year anniversary even more striking for the boy and his family.
