Social Unit Reform in Tibagi Will Have Investment Over R$ 3.3 Million
The project plans an investment over R$ 3.3 million and aims to concentrate public services in one location, as well as reduce expenses with rental of properties.

The city of Tibagi advances in the project of reform of the Social Unit, a historical building that currently has the space underutilized. The work provides for investments of more than R$ 3.3 million and seeks to concentrate public services in a single location, in addition to reducing expenses with rental properties.
The bid to hire the company responsible for the work is scheduled for October 23. The expectation of the Municipal Administration is to start the works in 2026, although the procedures of the bidding process may extend this period.
Mayor Rildo Leonardi explains that the team has been working on the project since the beginning of management. Because it is an old and historic building, the reform requires specific studies and technical planning.
“We have been working on this project for more than a year and a half, which is very complex because it is a historic building. From the beginning of the management, we have been committed to making this reform possible,” emphasizes the mayor.
Rildo also points out that the City Council protocoled the project with the State Government in April 2026 and awaited the release of resources to advance the proposal. With the tender, the project takes another step to transform the space into a place of service to the population.
After the renovation, the building should receive municipal secretariats that today operate in rented properties. The change will save public resources and facilitate the access of the population to municipal services.
“This space will serve to receive several secretariats that are now in rented buildings, which generates costs for the municipality. We will have more economy and make life easier for the population, with several services in one place,” says Rildo.
