Spouse of Moraes' Contract with Banco Master Preceded Involvement in PF Investigations
Document Preceded Legal Consultancy in Procedures Involving Federal Police, Central Bank, Federal Revenue and Cade; Contract Could Reach R$ 131 Million

The contract signed between the office of advogada Viviane Barci of Moraes, wife of the minister of Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) Alexandre de Moraes, and the former Banco Master provided for the provision of strategic consulting in police investigations and administrative procedures before different federal bodies.
The information was released on Friday (11), after the full document became public with the removal of the secrecy of the investigations in Supremo Tribunal Federal on Thursday night (10).

According to the contract, the Barci de Moraes Office was to provide strategic and legal advice on procedures and investigations conducted by the Federal and Civil Police, as well as administrative procedures involving the Banco Central, the Federal Revenue and the Administrative Council of Economic Defense (Cade).
The agreement also provided for action in judicial proceedings in the different instances of the Judiciary and the implementation of a compliance program for the Banco Master.
Contract prior payment of R$ 131 million
The contract between the office and the bank linked to the entrepreneur Daniel Vorcaro provided for payments that could reach approximately R$ 131 million. The amount would be divided into 36 monthly and successive installments, of about R$ 3.6 million each.
Payments, however, were halted following the settlement of Banco Master by Banco Central in November 2025. The disclosure of the full contract adds new elements to the investigations involving the bank and occurs amid the repercussion of information obtained by the Federal Police during the investigation of the so-called Master case.
The office said it had produced opinions.
In a demonstration previously released, the Moraes office of Viviane Barci reported having carried out extensive legal consultancy and performance for Banco Master. According to the demonstration, 36 legal opinions and legal opinions were produced during the period of provision of services.
The existence of the contract and the provision of action before different public bodies do not, in themselves, mean that irregularities have occurred. The circumstances relating to Banco Master and the documents obtained during the investigations continue to be examined by the competent authorities.
