Statement of Confrontants in Ponta Grossa is now free and available immediately

The Declaration of Confronters in Ponta Grossa was issued free of charge and immediately by the City Hall website. The change, already valid this September, simplifies a service used by the real estate sector and by property owners, eliminating a wait that could previously reach 40 days.

The improvement was developed by the Digital Government of the City Hall and implemented by the Research and Planning Institute of Ponta Grossa (IPLAN). With the new procedure, the document can be requested on the internet with a few clicks and without the payment of a fee.

Until then, those who needed the Declaration of Confronters had to request a Certificate of Footage, a document that gathers more extensive information about the property. With the amendment adopted in September, the two services were separated and the declaration could now be requested individually.

Document is issued on time

According to the City Council, one of the main changes is in the time required to obtain the document. Previously, the process could take up to 40 days. Now, the issuance of the declaration takes place immediately by the system made available by the Municipality.

The measure seeks to reduce red tape for owners and professionals who need the information for real estate-related procedures in Ponta Grossa.

The president of IPLAN, Rafael Mansani, says that the change is the result of the rapprochement of public authorities with representatives of the real estate sector.

“This improvement in the provision of the service, made by our team, is the result of the approach of the City Hall, through the Institute of Research and Planning (IPLAN), with the real estate sector, represented by the Paranaense Association of Builders,” he says.

According to Mansani, the dialogue with sectors that use services administered by the Municipality allows to identify difficulties and improve procedures.

“Through this approach to the sectors that use the tools under management of public power, we are able to solve obstacles and stimulate economic activity in our municipality,” he adds.

What is the purpose of the Statement of Confronters?

The Statement of Confronters in Ponta Grossa gathers cadastral information related to neighboring properties and the surroundings of a particular property.

Among the available information are data linked to the registrations of the confronting properties. The document can be used in regularization processes, protocols, administrative procedures and real estate rectification requests, as well as other situations that require the identification of properties located around a certain property.

The change especially benefits owners, real estate professionals, builders and people involved in real estate regularization processes.

With the separation of the Statement of Confronters from the Certificate of Footage, the City Council states that it intends to make the service simpler and faster, allowing the citizen to request only the necessary document for each procedure.

The service is now available for free through the digital channels of the Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa.
